New Hampshire Motorist Due in Court After Hitting 106 MPH in Vermont.

Scott W. Samson, 49, of Spofford, New Hampshire, was recently cited for excessive speed and negligent operation of a motor vehicle by Vermont State Police. This was after officers clocked the man going 106 miles per hour on Interstate 91 near Brattleboro, Vermont.

According to the Vermont state trooper that pulled Samson over, the driver hit a speed of 106 miles per hour on Interstate 91 near Brattleboro, Vermont this past Thursday morning. At the time, he was driving his 2011 Porsche Carrera Turbo.

Samson was cited for the excessive speed and is due in court to face the charges against him. He is officially charged with excessive speed and negligent operation.

The speed limit on Interstate 91 in Vermont is 55 miles per hour.
