Mother And Five-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Collision.

Three people, including a five-year-old girl and her mother, were killed in a head-on collision last Sunday afternoon on Highway 169 near Mankato, Minnesota. According to state patrol, the mother was driving southbound with her daughter in the backseat when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed over the centerline into oncoming traffic.

The mother, 36-year-old Lindi Paul, and her five-year-old daughter Emma were pronounced dead shortly after the accident. After losing control of the vehicle, Paul’s car shifted over the centerline into oncoming traffic, striking a pickup truck driven by 65-year-old Michael O’Boyle. Sadly, the he passed away a short time after the accident at the Mayo Clinic. O’Boyle was traveling with a 65-year-old woman, 8-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl. The girl was the only passenger who suffered serious injuries.
