3 Year-Old Dies After His Mother Rides Straight Into Motor Vehicle Going The Wrong Way On Street.

A wrongful death claim can arise in a variety of circumstances.  Claims can arise any time a person is killed as the result of another’s negligence.  One common example that is likely to bring about a wrongful death suit is after a fatal motor vehicle vehicular accident caused by the negligence of another driver. Although no amount of money can fully compensate for the loss of a loved one, wrongful death claims attempt to assist the family and provide some relief in the form of monetary damages. The expert wrongful death attorneys at our Boston, Massachusetts law firm have decades of experience and can help guide you through this complicated litigation process.

Criminal charges have been levied against the mother of a 3 year-old boy who was killed in a motor vehicle accident. The fatality occurred when the dirt bike on which the mother and her son were riding struck another car in their North Knox, Tennessee neighborhood. The driver of the car involved in the fatal collision, Jacob Hunter, 27 years-old, also faces criminal charges.  Pierson Brown was the 3 year-old boy who was killed. He was a passenger on a dirt bike with his mother, 23 year-old Megan Brown. Ms. Brown ran a stop sign at the corner of Thebes and Bowsong Lanes and crashed head-on into a Honda Accord, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

The child was wearing a helmet, but his mother was not. Pierson was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Ms. Brown was treated at the hospital for her injuries. Her condition was not immediately available. Hunter was driving on the wrong side of the road when he attempted to turn.
