Three College Students Killed In On-Campus Car Wreck.

Four Sam Houston State University students were traveling together on-campus when they crashed, killing three of the students inside.

The three students who were killed were ages 19, 20, and 22. The surviving passenger was a 23-year-old student at the same university. The wreck is still under investigation, although police believe speed may have been a factor in the crash. The lethal crash left the car upright against a building on the south side of campus this past Saturday.

The semester had just ended for the four students and they were looking forward to retuning home for the holidays. Fall graduation ceremonies were being conducted that night, as the school was forced to send out an emergency notification to students that three of their own had died in the accident.
