The New York Police Department (NYPD) is searching for 44 year-old Julio Acevedo in connection with a hit-and-run car accident that killed an expectant father, a pregnant mother and her unborn child.
Nathan and Raizy Glauber, both 21 years old and active members in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, New York, were expecting the birth of their son and were en route to the Long Island College Hospital for a check-up when a terrifying auto crash claimed their lives.
The couple’s unborn child was delivered by C-section from the deceased mother’s womb. The child survived for one day before tragically passing away this past Monday.
The NYPD is now looking for Acevedo, the alleged driver of the BMW that crashed into the couple’s taxi while it was stopped at an intersection. Acevedo and another occupant fled the scene of the wrongful death auto accident on foot. Police arrested Takia Walker, the registered owner of the vehicle, on charges of insurance fraud.
