Massachusetts State Police reported on Friday, November 9, that 26 year-old Jeffrey Prouty, of Hanover, MA was killed in a tragic car accident at 6:47 PM in Braintree, MA last week.
Police say that Prouty lost control of his 2005 BMW 525I on Route 3 near exit 17 prior to the auto crash. Prouty was traveling southbound when he went off the roadway and crashed.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital in Weymouth, MA after the motor vehicle accident, where he was pronounced dead at 7:35 PM Friday night.
No other vehicles were involved in the car accident, and no other injuries were reported.
