Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in a Rehabilitation Clinic for Car Accident Case.

In a story that surprises no one, Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again with the law. This time, the disgraced actress cut a deal with prosecutors in connection with her June car accident case, accepting 90 days in a lock-down rehabilitation facility in lieu of a potential 8-month jail sentence.

Lohan, who missed her court date on Monday after bungling her flight schedule out of New York, pleaded no contest to reckless driving and lying to police after her June 2012 car accident.

Lohan admitted that her actions violated the terms of her probation, which she received in the wake of her previous jewelry-theft case. Though that violation resulted in a 180-day jail sentence, the judge elected to stay the sentence so long as the actress stayed out of trouble.

Lohan must now spend 90 days in a lockdown rehabilitation facility, with no in-and-out privileges. She must also complete 30 days of community service as well as 18 months of psychotherapy. Lohan must also pay thousands of dollars in fines.

After issuing her sentence, the judge suggested that Lohan refrain from driving. He also emphasized that any future probation violation will result in Lohan going directly to jail.
