Actress Lindsay Lohan Sued for Causing 2012 Car Accident.

A man injured in a car accident allegedly caused by actress Lindsay Lohan on June 8, 2012 is suing the actress and Crossheart Productions for personal injury damages and pain and suffering stemming from the auto crash.

According to his complaint, James Johnson was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway, when Lindsay Lohan slammed her 2012 Porsche 911S into the rear of Johnson’s motor vehicle. Johnson further claims that police discovered a bag of pills and a container smelling of alcohol in Lohan’s car just after the crash. According to the police report, however, the police officers on the scene determined that Lohan was not impaired or intoxicated.

Lohan was arrested and convicted in connection with this car accident, on charges of reckless driving, obstructing a police officer and lying to a police officer. Lohan has accepted a plea deal for the convictions, including a 90-day stay in a rehabilitation clinic.

Johnson is seeking damages for “great physical, mental, and nervous pain and suffering,” in addition to punitive damages and attorney’s fees.
